Whittakers briefed us to surprise and delight mall shoppers prior to Christmas, creating awareness that Whittaker’s Cocoa Pods were the perfect stocking filler and that product sampling gets results.
The brief:
To sample as many target consumers as possible in a short period of time, introduce them to the product, and plant the suggestion of Whittaker’s pods as a Christmas gifting option.
The Mechanics:
Malls were the location of choice with their inflated foot traffic leading up to Christmas and the campaign timed to integrate with the client’s ATL communications. We created impactful roaming trays to optimise the budget and to enable the team to sample as many shoppers as possible.
The outcome:
Over 23,000 shoppers sampled over 5 days and average of 700 samples per hour.
