Product Sampling Instore Farrah’s Pizza Bases

When Farrah’s approached us to promote their new Pizza bases, product sampling was the obvious choice. The brand has a huge following and is known for their wraps and a big part of the brief was to get the new Pizza bases in front of shoppers, both existing Farrah’s shoppers and new shoppers to the brand.

The brief

To sample Farrah’s Pizza bases to as many shoppers as possible and educate them that the product is located with the existing Farrah’s wraps rather than in the chiller with the other Pizza bases.

 The mechanics.

  • A focused in store campaign across Foodstuffs supermarkets nationwide
  • $2 off coupons were provided to incentivize purchase
  • Product was made into Pizza’s and generously sampled

The outcomes

  • Over 4000 shoppers were sampled to over the duration of the campaign
  • Over 25% of all people that sampled the product purchased it on the day
