Another summer, another reason to hit the road. Building on previous success, we brought Hellers back to holiday hotspots from supermarkets to seaside stops, making good food part of the journey.
Across holiday hotspots and supermarket locations, we brought Hellers into the heart of summer. By serving hot samples where holidaymakers were already on the move, we made tasting easy at exactly the right moment.
The Brief
Building on previous summer success, the brief was to keep Kiwis craving Hellers by driving awareness and consideration through mouthwatering product sampling. The focus was on showcasing great flavour, versatility, and everyday convenience, this year elevated with the addition of Barkers sauces for the ultimate summer pairing.
The Mechanics
Expanded summer sampling across high-traffic holiday destinations, supermarkets, holiday parks, and beach locations
Trained Brand Ambassadors serving hot, ready-to-eat samples including Hellers sausages, burger patties, and bacon, paired with Barkers sauces
Strong branded sampling set-ups to maximise visibility and reinforce brand presence
Coupon distribution to incentivise shoppers to purchase in-store, driving consideration and conversion without direct selling
The Outcomes
This summer, thousands of Kiwis discovered the perfect combination of Hellers products and Barkers sauces. The interactive sampling experience gave people a taste of summer cook-ups and inspired them to bring the flavours home with them. Coupons helped guide shoppers from tasting to purchasing, creating meaningful connections with the brand. Building on previous summers, the campaign strengthened Hellers presence in key locations, delivered memorable flavour experiences, and kept the excitement going for another season.
