We were product sampling the product to all wine lovers in the supermarket looking for something new to try.  Was Takara Sake for them?

The brief

Target wine lovers who are looking for something new. Educate shoppers on the range of Takara Sake and encourage trial, then purchase of the range. 

The mechanics

  • A focused in-store campaign across New World & Pak n Save Supermarkets nationwide
  • Sampling: Takara Gokai Sake, Takara Nigori Sake, Takara Mio Sparkling Sake, Takara Mio Dry Sparkling Sake, Takara Takujo Sake

The outcome

  • Over 4,000 shoppers sampled the range
  • Over 1,600 units sold across the whole campaign
  • 37% of shoppers sampled to purchased a bottle or two
